THE STORY


Established in early 2020, Dokkaebier has quickly made a name for itself in San Francisco’s star-studded restaurant scene. Deriving its name from dokkaebi (도깨비), the mysterious, shape-shifting creatures found throughout Korean folklore, the eatery/taproom serves up delicious Korean-inspired tapas and craft beer out of their trendy Nob Hill dining room.

Founder Youngwon Lee brought me on board shortly after launching Dokkaebier to help develop the brand’s voice and tone. I’ve written copy for the company’s website enjoydkb.com, social media, and packaging.
